A numeric representation of a phrase's meaning, used to group queries by closeness of meaning.
Each query is turned into a vector of numbers that encodes meaning. Phrases close in meaning end up near each other, even when they share no words.
Embeddings power the most accurate semantic clustering, finer than matching by words.
